“Unfortunately, after signing the second Minsk agreement in February, day after day we watch the violations of the cease-fire, provocations, assaults, attacks, and despair…We will continue use sanctions until Minsk agreement will be fully implemented, and international obligations are met,” he noted.
“When I’m thinking about last 1,5 years, I am shocked with all the suffering of Ukrainian people. I never could have imagined that 70 years after the Second World War, 25 years after the fall of the "iron curtain" people in Europe would lose the right to decide their own destiny. I never could have imagined that the borders in Europe could be changed by force. The architecture of the world, which we have built together after the Cold War, is attacked, and that the "law of force" prevails over the rule of law once again”, said Schultz.
As reported before, resolution on maintenance the sanctions against Russia entered into force in June 23.
