As we reported earlier, Oleksandr Usyk became the new unified heavyweight world champion after defeating Anthony Joshua with an incredible performance in London.

In the beginning of the match, the Ukrainian was in the lead. Oleksandr Usyk moved more and although his blows did not cause obvious harm to Joshua, they were more accurate and there were more of them. This continued until the middle of the fight when Usyk slowed down a bit and Joshua was able to seize the initiative. But he was much slower than the opponent, who dodged the majority of the British boxer's blows or blocked them. At the end of the fight, both boxers were tired and the pace became even more jerky. However, Usyk was faster and more accurate - Joshua's eyes got swollen from his combinations. Towards the end of the fight, Usyk could even knock out his opponent when he was able to press Joshua to the ropes, but the final gong allowed Anthony to stand on his feet.

After the fight, the judges of the match unanimously gave the victory to Oleksandr Usyk. Now the Ukrainian has become the world champion in super heavyweight according to the WBA, IBF, WBO and IBO.
