"The quarantine is in, yet the training goes on as scheduled. Nothing should keep us from the implementation of this socially important programme. I am confident that the virus will not stop us in this righteous deed," National Sambo Federation of Ukraine President Vadym Rohach stated.

As we reported earlier, Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers allowed Ukrainian athletes of national teams to conduct individual training sessions during lockdown. The corresponding decision was made on April 15.

"The proposed changes will allow the athletes of the national teams of Olympic, non-Olympic, national sports and sports of persons with disabilities to train during the lockdown ... It is suggested to allow athletes to conduct solely individual training," Minister of Youth and Sports Vadym Gutzeit stated.
