14 households in Yekaterinburg, Russia, will be cut off from the gas supplies for a month – during the FIFA World Cup 2018, which this country is about to host.
The residents will have no gas for the entire month. This is due to safety reasons, the officials explained. Earlier, Russian leader Putin ordered to suspend all sorts of dangerous production, which includes high-pressure gas supplies to households.
As is known, the FIFA World Cup will take place in Russia; it will be running from June 14 through July 15.
Ukraine's Inter TV channel purchased the rights to broadcast the competition, even though the National TV and Radio Broadcasting Council decided not to broadcast it in Ukraine.
