In the men's 30 kilometre skiathlon, Ukrainian athlete Oleksyi Krasovskyi finished 61st and was lapped by the leading athlete.

Simen Krueger from Norway won the competition, and Norway took the whole podium, as their athletes took the second and the third place too.

In yesterday’s luge competition, Ukrainian rider Andriy Mandziy fell off his sled, but managed to hop back on and finish the race. Even though he came in last, he showed the true Olympic spirit.

Ukrainian team in the Olympics is represented by 33 athletes competing in nine sports.
