Winter Olympics 2018: Three Ukraine-born flag-bearers to appear at opening ceremony

Olena Pidhrushna, Alla Tsuper and Oleksiy Bychenko will carry flags of Ukraine, Belarus and Israel respectively

Olena Pidhrushna, Alla Tsuper and Oleksiy Bychenko will be the three Ukraine-born athletes to carry the flags of their respective countries during the opening ceremony of the Olympics in Pyeongchang.

Pidhrushna, the well-known biathlete will be carrying the Ukrainian banner. Free-styler Alla Tsuper, born in Rivne, northern Ukraine, will carry the flag of Belarus. Oleksiy Bychenko is to carry the flag of Israel. 

The opening ceremony of the Winter Olympics 2018 will kick off on Friday, 13.00.
