Athletes did not suffer from the outbreak of the virus

An outbreak of norovirus was reported in the Olympic village, but it did not touch the athletes. Organizers confirmed 158 cases of infection, writes the South Korean agency Yonhap.

According to the organizers, 139 people from among the diseased have already recovered, 19 more are being kept under control to prevent any risk of spreading the disease.

We recall, the symptoms of norovirus are stomach pain and diarrhea.

Sometimes the norovirus infection is also called stomach flu.
