Head coach of Ukraine's national football team Oleksandr Petrakov commented on the draw against Bosnia and Herzegovina in the FIFA World Cup qualification game. The press office of the Ukrainian Association of Football cited him as saying.
"During the halftime, we told the boys not to close their defense lines too tight. It's all about fatigue. I thanked them all. The guys are sad. We'll figure out the mistakes and make conclusions. You don't like the way Tsyhankov plays? It's Ukraine - not France or Italy. We only have an average championship. We use resources at our disposal. There are young men, and I watch them grow. They do, but they're still not ready to play for the national team. I have no questions for the boys. They did everything they could. We'll be preparing for the fight against Bosnia and Herzegovina. We'll fight till the end, that much I promise you. All guys understand that", Petrakov said.
After seven rounds, Ukraine comes second in its qualification group. Petrakov's team surpasses Finns and Bosnians who still have a match to spare.
