“I consider Usyk the world’s best boxer. There are many good boxers, who can do lots of things. In my opinion, Oleksandr Usyk has the full package. I am not diminishing Vasyl Lomachenko’s accomplishments, he is good as well,” he said.
The ex-coach stated that Usyk had not fulfilled his potential yet.
“I have been working with him for three years. It is not even his peak. Oleksandr has great skills, for sure, he knows what he is doing. And with all my love to Joshua, even he could not beat Usyk. Sasha is an embodiment of a real boxer,” Bashir said.
Reportedly, Usyk’s next fight is to be held soon. On November 10, the Ukrainian will meet the British Tony Bellow in Manchester.
