In 2019, Ukrainian high jumper broke the world junior record by winning the silver medal at the World Championship - she jumped at 2.04 m. In addition, Ukrainian became the European Junior Champion.

Mahuchikh was awarded the Petr Nurovsky Prize as the best young athlete according to the International Olympic Committee.
