Ukrainian racing cyclist Andriy Vynokurov won silver at the World Cup cycle track, which was held in Manchester.

Ukrainian fought for the victory with the Dutch Matthijs Büchli until the last seconds. But in the end he lost to him on the last lap.

As it was reported earlier on Friday, September 29, in the Canadian city of Toronto, the Ukrainian team completed its participation in the Invictus Games 2017. In this international sports competition take part servicemen and war veterans with a disability received during the performance of their duties.

The Ukrainian team won 14 medals: 8 golden, 3 silver and 3 bronze.

President Petro Poroshenko has already congratulated the Ukrainian team with the result.
