Ukrainian wins bronze medal on cycling European Championship

Ukrainian cyclist Hanna Solovey has won the bronze medal of the European Championship in the group race in Apeldoorn, the Netherlands. Ukrinform reported that. 

Solovey scored 39 points giving in only the Italian and Belorussian cyclists. 

This medal is the second for Ukraine on the European Championship. Earlier, Olena Starykova won the silver medal in sprint giving in Russian Anastasiya Voynova. 

As it was reported earlier, Ukrainian boxer Vasyl Lomachenko, current WBC, WBA, WBO lightweight champion, continued to lead the Pound-for-Pound ranking. 

Ukrainian heavyweight Oleksandr Usyk also got in the top ten boxers, regardless of weight category; he took sixth place. Compared to the same rating as of the end of May 2019, Oleksandr has retrogressed by two positions, and Vasyl is still leading.

Previously, Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk made a successful debut in the heavyweight division.

Also, according to Goal.com, Andriy Lunin, the goalkeeper of Valladolid and Ukraine's national team is in the list of candidates to get the Golden Boy award
