Ukrainian boxer, the absolute heavyweight champion of the world Oleksandr Usyk is 2018's best boxer, according to BoxingScene.

The journalists emphasized the way the Ukrainian made in 2018.

“After beating Mairis Briedis (25-1, 18 KOs) on two of three scorecards, Usyk used his intelligence and skill to dominate hard-hitting Russian Murat Gassiev (26-1, 19 KOs) by unanimous decision July 21 in Moscow,” the news agency's message reads.

Then, Usyk knocked out Tony Bellew. These victories put Oleksandr on the fourth place in the P4P rating, gave him ESPN and Sport Illustrated rewards, and the title “Fighter of the Year” from The Ring magazine.
