Ukrainian football fans will not be able to get to the match of the national team with England due to restrictions on entry to Italy, where the game will take place. Such information appeared on the official UEFA website.
"Currently, it is not allowed to travel from Ukraine to Italy, with some exceptions.… This means that fans from Ukraine will not be able to go to Italy for the match unless one of the serious reasons for the trip does not concern them," the statement said.
The Sports Association advises reviewing the list of all exceptions for travel to Italy on the official government website of the country. Important reasons for the entry of Ukrainians are work, health reasons, the absolute urgency of travel, the availability of a residence permit in Italy. In all other cases, the country's authorities adhere to a policy of quarantine restrictions.
The Ukraine-England match of this year's European Football Championship will take place at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome on July 3. For the first time in the history of independent Ukraine, Ukrainian footballers reached the 1/4 finals, having previously beaten the Swedish national team with a score of 2: 1.
