The Ukrainian Association of Football (UAF) is going to appeal the UEFA's decision on the technical defeat of the national team of Ukraine with a score of 0:3 due to the cancellation of the League of Nations match against Switzerland. This was stated by UAF Vice President Yuri Zapisotskyi.
UEFA's decision will be challenged in the Court of Arbitration for Sport in Lausanne.
"After receiving the resume part of the UEFA Appeals Committee's decision, the UAF declares its categorical disagreement with it and intends to appeal this decision to the Sports Arbitration Court of Lausanne immediately after receiving the full text of the decision with an analysis," said Zapisotskyi.
As we reported earlier, on Wednesday, November 25, Argentinian football legend Diego Maradona died at the age of 60.
It is reported that the cause of death was a heart attack.
Maradona, who was well known for having a wild lifestyle during and after his playing days, had a gastric bypass operation to lose weight in 2005 and was once more hospitalized two years later for alcohol-induced hepatitis.
