The Ukrainian replaced Goncalo Ramos; at the time, the Portuguese were leading the way. Yaremchuk helped Benfica secure the victory; he landed a shot, the ball ricocheted from Spartak's defender Samuel Gigot and ended up in the net.

Kyiv hosted the fixture of Round 3 of UEFA Champions League's qualification. Shakhtar Donetsk and KRC Genk crossed their swords for a slot in the qualification playoffs.

Since the very beginning of the game, Mountaineers took the ball and used short passes, thus counteracting the opponent's pressure. In the middle of the first half, the home team opened the score; Tete assisted Traore who sent the ball into the net from the penalty area.

Shakhtar carried on with their initiative. Belgians also had their moments, but their shoits were too wide, and sometimes the ball would hit the crossbar. Then, the Ukrainian team scored another goal - thanks to the efforts of Marcos Antonio.
