Yevhen Seleznev, the ex-forward of Ukraine's national football team might move from his current club, Akhisar Belediyespor and join another Turkish squad. It could be either Galatasaray or Rizespor, Fanatik portal wrote.
Galatasaray's management is eager to get the Ukrainian; so far, the Istanbul-based team comes fifth in the Turkish SüperLig standings. Standing against the opponents in the national tournament, the squad also gets ready for the UEFA Europa League game against Benfica in the Round of the Last 32.
Rizespor's head coach Okan Buruk is personally interested in Seleznev's transfer. In that case, the Ukrainian could join Oleksandr Hladky, his compatriot and former teammate in the national squad.
Currently, Akhisar comes 15th of 18 teams in the Turkish SüperLig standings; Rizespor comes last, with only four goals scored in 17 matches.
Last year, the Ukrainian left Karabyukspor to join Akhisar. He's been playing in Turkey since winter 2016. Prior to that, Seleznev successfully played for Shakhtar Donetsk and Dnipro FC.
