Ukraine’s national football team loses three more players due to Covid-19

The match against Switzerland is now in jeopardy

Three more players of the national football team of Ukraine have gotten infected with coronavirus infection.

According to the press service of the Ukrainian Association of Football, Yevhen Makarenko, Eduard Sobol, and Viktor Riznyk have been diagnosed with the disease. The last match against the national football team of Germany was played without Andriy Yarmolenko, Viktor Tsygankov, Serhiy Sydorchuk, and Viktor Kovalenko.

It is worth noting that the national team of Ukraine is scheduled to face Switzerland tomorrow, on November 17, but it is now unclear whether the Yellow-Blues will be able to compete.

As we reported earlier, Ukrainian strongman Oleksiy Novikov became the winner of the prestigious competition The World's Strongest Man.

The competition took place in Florida (USA). The second and third places in the tournament were taken by the Briton Tom Stoltman and the Canadian Jean-François Caron.

This is Ukraine’s third victory at The World's Strongest Man tournament. In 2004 and 2007, Vasyl Virastyuk also claimed this title.
