Ukrainian mixed martial arts fighter Yaroslav Amosov gets a title shot in the Bellator promotion already this summer.

According to Yahoo Sports, Amosov, the sambo expert and #1 in Bellator's welterweight division is to go toe-to-toe with Brazilian Douglas Lima, the incumbent champion. The fight for the world champion title is supposed to take place in Uncasville, Connecticut, U.S. on June 11.

As long as his professional career is concerned, Amosov is currently undefeated, having won 25 of 25 fights. He is a three-time world sambo champion, a two-time European and Eurasia champion, and European Cup winner. Amosov is also the winner of many national and international competitions. In Bellator promotion, the Ukrainian has had six fights so far; last year, he defeated Logan Storley, Mark Lemminger and Ed Ruth.

Amosov's opponent Douglas Lima will be defending his title for the third time. He already lost the title and then returned it. He has spent 32 fights in the Bellator promotion, eight of which he lost.
