Goalkeeper of Ukraine's national football team Andriy Lunin played his first game for CD Leganes. Previously, the team borrowed him from Real Madrid, where the goaltender never got the chance to prove himself on the pitch.

In that particular game, Leganes stood against Rayo Vallecano in Copa del Rey's Round of Last 32. It all went south initially, as Leganes lost two goals over the first 22 minutes; but then, Youssef En-Nesyri scored a double and restored the balance, making it 2-2. The return leg will take place on December 5.

Mauricio Pellegrino, the coach of Leganes insisted that Lunin is young and has a future in the team. 'Andriy Lunin comes to terms woth his teammates. He's a young goalkeeper and he's still got to get used to it', he said.
