Ukrainian free-fight champion Ihor Slyusarchuk passed away on Tuesday morning; his coach Oleksandr Dolishniy reported that as quoted by 20 Minutes news agency

'His heart ceased to beat in the morning of February 6. He was the heavyweight fighter who twice claimed the world champion's title. so far, I cannot say why he died - we're still figuring it out,' Dolishniy said.

Slyusarchuk, 29, trained in Ternopil and resided in Lviv (both in western Ukraine). One of the most famous free-fighters in Ukraine; he left behind his wife and a baby son.

Free-fight is a Ukrainian version of full-contact martial art.
