‘Earlier the Football Federation of Ukraine sent a letter to FIFA with the explanations that the federation does not assume the responsibility for the accreditation of the journalists because does not take care of their security at the World Cup. Then the national federation recalled its quota’, Frankov said.

He added that any Ukrainian journalist who wants to be accredited for the 2018 FIFA World Cup can do it through the FIFA if it agrees or through Russia as the country-organizer.
