If there are no unforeseen consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic, football will be able to return to the stadiums as early as mid-June.
According to Meta Ratings, the Ukraine is expected to resume its football season on June 13-14. With this schedule, clubs will start the training process at the end of May. The remaining nine rounds will be held by mid-July.
In addition, Ukrainian football association still has time to hold matches of Ukrainian Cup. Shakhtar Donetsk FC has yet to complete its participation in the Europa League where it outplayed WfL Wolfsburg in the first match of 1/8 finals.
As we reported earlier, the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) and the Association of European Clubs (ECA) have set a deadline for completion of national championships: they are supposed to be finished by July 31.
The Champions League and the Europa League are currently stopped at the stage of the 1/8 finals.
If it is possible to finish the championships by the end of July, the Euro Cup matches will take place in August.
