Ukraine – Serbia
‘Metalist’ stadium, Kharkiv
November 15, 21.00 Kyiv time
Ukraine won the previous game in the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualification; the Yellow Blues defeated Finland 1-0 in the home game in Odesa on November 12. Now it is time for eastern-Ukrainian city of Kharkiv to host the fixture of the national team against Serbs.
Ukraine failed to use all the bright moments against the Finns; but, still, the victory must have added to the spirit of Andriy Shevchenko’s men. So, hopefully, they will be properly motivated in the wake of tonight’s game.
Serbs have been in decent shape lately, too; they played a draw against the tough Welsh team. As they play with Ukraine, Serbian coach Slavoljub Muslin will have another good chance to evaluate and test his players – both individual work and the team chemistry.
