The UEFA has re-run the draw ceremony of the Champions League's Round of Last 16. According to the press office of the Association, the reason was the software error.

"Due to the technical error with software of the outer supplier that tells the UEFA officials, which teams could face each other, a serious mistake was allowed in the draw of Champions League's round of the last 16", the UEFA statement said.

During the draw, Russian ex-footballer Andrey Arshavin pulled the ball for Villarreal against Manchester United, even though the clubs already played in the same group. In addition, the draw for Atlético Madrid could have fallen to Liverpool, though the teams played previously, too. As a result, UEFA decided to run the draw again.
