Belgium and France crossed swords in the semifinal game of UEFA Nations League.
It was Belgium who opened the score. Yannick Carrasco landed a precise shot; then, Lukaku doubled the advantage. The Red Devils dominated on the pitch by the end of the first half, though the French controlled the ball much more confidently.
In the second half, the French managed to recover and even the odds. Karim Benzema cut the lead after Killian Mbappe's assist. Then, Mbappe successfully landed a penalty kick after a foul on Antoine Griezmann. And then, briefly before the final whistle, Theo Hernandez sealed the fate of the game.
In the final game, France will play against Spain, which defeated Italy in the semifinals. The final and the game for the third place will be both played on October 10.
