Zorya Luhansk and RB Leipzig played the second leg of the UEFA Europa League qualification playoff fixture at Red Bull Arena on Thursday evening. The first leg ended as a 0-0 draw.

The home team managed to score first, but Zorya returned the favor twice - before and after the half-time.

In the second half, the Germans recovered and equalized, making it 2-2. The 90th-minute penalty shot, which the referee awarded to Leipzig, sealed the score; Forsberg made it 3-2 and thus left no chances for Zorya to proceed to the group stage.

Now that Zorya lost and left the competition, two Ukrainian teams - Dynamo Kyiv and Vorskla Poltava - are going to compete in UEFA Europa League group stage.

Earlier, Ajax AFC sent Dynamo Kyiv FC to UEFA Europa League group stage, as Kyivites played a draw in the second leg and thus left UEFA Champions League.
