Fortune favored Shakhtar Donetsk in today’s away game with RC Celta Vigo in UEFA Europa League. The Mountaineers celebrated 0-1 victory in the first leg of the fixture, making it somewhat easier to play the home game in Ukraine.
The game was far from what could be called spectacular, but Shakhtar’s experience proved to be enough to prevent the opponent from scoring at least once. Though the Spaniards controlled the ball well and attacked more frequently than the Ukrainians, Shakhtar’s lunges proved to be more dangerous and better organized. The final score was sealed already in the first half, as Blanco-Leshchuk successfully finished off the strike initially delivered by Marlos.
