Dynamo Kyiv and Olympiakos played the game of UEFA Europa League's Round of the Last 32.

Kyivites came to Piraeus as guests, and the home support definitely contributed to the spirit of Olympiakos; thanks to the efforts of Hassan and Dias, the Greeks made it 2-1 by the halftime, with Buyalsky scoring for Dynamo.

In the second half, Dynamo gradually got their act together. The Ukrainian team managed to get control over the ball and improved the average passing precision, making it a problem for the Greeks. Eventually, they reaped the fruit of their efforts, as Verbic completed the header by Tsyhankov. Thus, the Kyivites barely escaped the loss briefly before the final whistle.

Previously, in December, Dynamo lost to Czech Republic's FK Jablonec within UEFA Europa League schedule. A fast goal by Jablonec made a perfect sense early in the first half, as the Kyivites allowed a breach in their defense after a corner. Despite the more versatile experience and the prestige of the home team, Dynamo had nothing to return the favor with.
