Desna Chernihiv played a match of the third qualifying round of the Europa League with VfL Wolfsburg.

The German club started applying pressure right from the beginning of the match. The first goal was scored by Guilavogui. Desna managed to push the enemy away from their goalposts but could not create any resistance.

In the second half, Desna defender Joonas Tamm received two yellow cards in a row and left the field. Ginczek managed to score the second goal for the German club right at the end of the match.

As we reported earlier, Dynamo Kyiv FC defeated KAA Gent in its first Champions League play-off.

Right from the very beginning of the match, the Kyivites established control over the ball, which led to first goal: Supryaga executed a precise shot from short range.

Nevertheless, the hosts evened the score right at the end of the first time: Dorsch performed a corner kick and Kleindienst managed to capitalize on it.

The last goal of the match was scored by Carlos de Pena with Tsygankov’s assist. As a result, a 2:1 victory for the Kyiv club. The rematch is scheduled for September 29.
