The UEFA Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body has declined the protest filed by Portugal and Luxembourg in the case of Junior Moraes, the player of Ukraine's national football team. The appeals concerned Moraes's appearances during Euro-2020 qualifications.
'The UEFA Appeal Committee dismissed the appeal of Portugal and Luxembourg in the case of Junior Moraes. It is another important victory for Ukrainian football and a confirmation of the legal nature of Moraes's performances for Ukraine's team in the games against Portugal and Luxembourg. I wish Moraes a speedy recovery and the opportunity to prove himself in the next games of the national team. Glory to Ukraine!', Andriy Pavelko, the President of Federation of Football of Ukraine posted on Facebook.
