Shakhtar Donetsk overplayed Feyenoord in the home game at Metallist arena in Kharkiv. The fixture of UEFA Champions League took place in Kharkiv on Wednesday; The Mountaineers celebrated victory 3-1.

The Dutch put up a good start and scored first, but the home team re-gained adantage yet in the first half. 

Feyenoord’s Nicolai Jorgensen score the first goal to Ukrainian team.


Shakhtar’s Facundo Ferreyra immediately replied on the 14th minute.


The third goal came from Shakhtar’s Marlos just three minutes later.

Finally, in the second half, Marlos sealed the score, making it 3-1.

4. Feyenord - 0

Now that Shakhtar claimed their third victory at the group stage of the Champions League 2017-2018, they continue into the playoffs. Paulo Fonseca and his squad accept congratulations on the well-deserved victory. The next game against Napoli will change nothing - the Ukrainians remain second in the group, even if Italians win.

Feyenoord and Napoli are going home after the next round - even if they win, as it's all over for them in this competition. Napoli, on the other hand, still has a chance to join UEFA Europa League, as the team that finished third in its group in the Champions League.
