As Dynamo Kyiv and BSC Young Boys crossed swords at NSC Olimpiysky arena in the Ukrainian capital, the team of Aleksandr Khatskevitch failed to claim victory in the home game of UEFA Champions League. Not that the 2:2 draw was a bad outcome for the White Blues, but they spent a lot of energy, which they will need on Sunday while facing Shakhtar Donetsk in the Ukrainian Premier League fixture.
Dynamo lost the first goal and then managed to equalize twice – thanks to the efforts of Buyalsky and Morozyuk. So, having scored another point, the Kyiv-based club continues to enjoy the leadership in the group standings and surely preserved a good chance to make it to the Champions League playoffs.
- Dynamo Kyiv – 7 pts
- BSC Young Boys – 3
- Partizan – 2
- Skenderbeu – 2
Since Partizan and Skenderbeu played a draw as well, not much has changed in the standings; Dynamo and Young Boys are the ones with decent chances to continue their struggle in the League.
