Dynamo Kyiv suffered another loss from Benfica, their opponents in Group B in UEFA Champions League. The Round 4 of the tournament’s group stage fixture took place in Lisbon, where ‘The Eagles’ outplayed the ‘White Blues’ 1-0, thus making it 3-0 on aggregate.

According to Serhiy Rebrov, Dynamo’s manager, he was upset with the outcome of the game; however, the Dynamo veteran also praised his men’s efforts. ‘The guys are tired. We played against very powerful opponent tonight. And we held out there good enough, at least we could’ve taken points in this game. But, unfortunately, we often start playing better after allowing a goal. Again, Benfica is tough; they rarely let their opponents go away without putting up a good fight. I liked it how we played after we lost a goal. Alas, we failed to use our opportunities. But it is effort that counts, and it was there,’ Rebrov said.
