It's over for Dynamo Kyiv in UEFA Champions League. Kyivites did not even make it to the group stage of the top club-level European competition.
On Tuesday night, the White-Blues hosted Brugge KV; it was a return leg in the Qualification Round 3 fixture. The game was played at NSC Olimpiysky in Kyiv.
The home team opened the score early in the first half, then Brugge equalized. The second half turned the pitch into a true battlefield, with two players sent off and four more goals scored. It all happened in the closing five minutes of the game, which were extremely nervous for both squads as it was about proceeding or leaving the tournament.
Thus, Dynamo played an unbelievable 3-3 draw with Brugge; however, it still lost on the aggregate (4-3), as Brugge won the home game (1-0).
Belgians proceed to the next stage of the competition.
