Dynamo Kyiv hosted Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League game, at the NSC Olimpiysky stadium in the Ukrainian capital.

Barcelona came to Kyiv without many players from the starting eleven. Dynamo, on their side, could not use the aid of Tsygankov and Rodriguez. The Spaniards claimed the ball possession and held it throughout the game, with Kyivites occasionally trying to counter-attack - not that they succeeded.

It all really went south for Dynamo in the second half. First, Sergino Dest managed to beat goalkeeper Georgiy Bushchan in a one-on-one; then, Martin Braithwaite doubled the score after a corner. Later, the Danish player scored from a penalty kick. Eventually, Antoine Griezmann scored the fourth goal with a precise kick, sending a low ball into the net.
