Tsurenko loses to Anisimova, leaves Australian Open

Lesya Tsurenko, the Ukrainian tennis player is now out of Australian Open; she lost the Round 2 fixture of the tournament, succumbing to the pressure of Amanda Anisimova.

The 17-year-old American beaten her opponent in two sets (6:0, 6:2), making a perfect win.  

Thus, the Ukrainian leaves the competition. Her compatriots Elina Svitolina and Dayana Yastremska are yet to play their Round 2 matches. Ukraine's No.1, Svitolina will stand against Viktória Kužmová, and Yastremska will cross swords with Carla Suarez Navarro. 

As we wrote before, in October 2018, 18-year-old Dayana Yastremska and Wang Qiang from China met in the finals of the Open Tennis Championship in Hongkong.  

It took the third best tennis player of Ukraine two sets to win. Yastremska gave only three games in two sets by spending a little more than an hour for the final.

Dayana Yastremska became the youngest tennis player who reached the final of the WTA in singles and won the title aged 18.
