Ukraine's tennis player Lesya Tsurenko successfully passed Round 1 of Roland Garros.
She defeated Swiss athlete Stephanie Vogel, losing the first set and coming back in the next two (4:6, 6:2, 6:2).
Last year, Tsurenko failed in this competition in Round 3.
Previously, Elina Svitolina, Ukraine's No.1 tennis player, also made it to Round 2 of the competition.
Earlier, she beat the first racket of the world Simona Halep from Romania (6:0, 6:4) and defended the title in Rome. For the victory in the tournament, Svitolina received 507,100 euros.
