Ukrainian tennis player Elina Svitolina calmly and without problems passed the stage of the 1/8 finals of the Australian Open.

Svitolina's opponent was Czech player Allertova. Despite the stubborn struggle for almost every game, Svitolina won the first set without problems. And after two disastrous games of the second set, Allertova practically refused to play. As a result, Svitolina did not give her opponent a second game in the second half of the match.

In the quarterfinals of Australian Open on January 23, Svitolina will play with the 37th world racket, the Belgian athlete Mertens.

We recall, Ukrainian Elina Svitolina for the first time in his career will play at this stage at the Australian WTA tournament.
