Ukraine's No.1 tennis player Elina Svitolina and British athlete Johanna Konta played the US Open's quarterfinal game.
The Ukrainian played a great game, giving up only two serves and making 4 aces. It took her two sets to sort the things out.
The victory over Konta let Svitolina reach the semifinals of the US Open; this is her second semifinal of the Grand Slam tournament in this year, with the first one being played in Wimbledon.
Previously, Svitolina defeated Madison Keys in the game of U.S. Open. It was the round of the last 16.
It took the Ukrainian two sets and 73 minutes to beat the American. After a tense struggle, Svitolina eventually grabbed the victory (7:5, 6:4).
