Ukrainian tennis player Elina Svitolina goes to the final of the WTA Tournament in Shenzhen. It is stated on the official WTA page in Twitter.

Svitolina lost the first set in the match with Suiss tennis player Belinda Bencic (5:7) but won in the second (6:3) and kept the next set with the score of 4:1. But Bencic refused to continue the game. Thus, Elina Svitolina will play in the final.

The Ukrainian already won the WTA Final Tournament last year.

As we reported earlier, Svitolina played her third match with American Sofia Kenin who replaced Bianca Andreescu from Canada after she withdrew from the tournament due to injury.

Despite the fact that Svitolina had secured her first place in the group and reached the semifinals of the tournament, she managed to win the match without losing a single set. Although the match turned out to be very intense.
