Ukrainian wrestler Lenur Temirov stopped one step before bronze medal of the Summer Olympics in Tokyo. 

The member of Ukraine's Olympic team stood against Sailike Walihan, the Chinese athlete. Both were decent opponents, and the scores were even; but the Chinese was more active, which earned him the victory.

"It's hard in fights like that, when there's a fair contest. It's a matter of luck. In the end, the only thing you need is to find a proper technical move. something that is quite difficult to do in the final period, within 30 seconds. I'm sorry, but I have no regrests about coming here and standing for Ukraine. It's a big honor for me. I really wanted to win, though I really can't say whether that wish was too strong or not. It happened this way. I'd like to apologize to everyone who cheered for me", the athlete said.
