Rakytsky not to play in Ukraine’s national football team, - Football Federation

The defender of Zenit FC (St. Petersburg) Yaroslav Rakytsky was removed from the list of players of Ukraine's National Football Team. Ukraine’s Federation of Football reported this on Monday.

Yaroslav Rakytsky left Shakhtar Donetsk and joined Zenit in January. The transfer price was €10 million.

Yaroslav Rakytsky had been severely criticized by fans while playing in the Shakhtar because he did not sing the Ukrainian anthem with other players. Now after transfer to Russia fans hope that his career in Ukraine’s national team ended. The rest of the team have the same point of view.
