Teams of Ukrainian Victor Postol and American Jose Carlos Ramirez have virtually agreed on all the details of a potential boxing match, ESPN reports.

The purse bids for the fight had to take place on October 28. The parties have asked to postpone the bids for October 30, and the media is convinced that the teams have already managed to discuss all the details.

Jose Carlos Ramirez is scheduled to defend the WBC and WBO light-welterweight Championships against Ukrainian Postol in February 2020. The show will take place in the USA.

Victor Postol held the title of WBC light-welterweight World Champion in 2015-2016. After the defeat to Terence Crawford, Ukrainian had four fights, winning three of them.

"I'm an official contender, we started negotiating. We agreed for a fight to take place on November 30, but after Ramirez became WBO World Champion, he injured his arm. He had surgery and, as I have heard, negotiations are being made in order to wait for a bit and make a fight in early February of 2020. Promoters are doing their best to keep both of Ramirez’s titles at stake," Postol said.
