Oleksandriya FC played its final game in the group stage of UEFA Europa League; the Ukrainian team stood against KAA Gent.
Three Ukrainians, Ihor Plastun, Roman Bezus and Roman Yaremchuk ended up in the starting eleven of the Belgian team. Bezus proved especially valuable on the pitch that night; he made two assists, which let Laurent Depoitre score a double.
By that time, Oleksandriya already had no tasks to pursue in the tournament - and yet, it sought the ways to deliver a trouble or two to their opponents. Denys Miroshnichenko finally opened the score for his team in the second half, making it 2-1.
Oleksandriya finished last in its group and left UEFA Europa League - just like Dynamo Kyiv. Thus, there are no more Ukrainian teams in this competition now.
