Matchroom Boxing is planning to launch a large-scale boxing show in Britain, on February 2020, VRinge portal reports.

Matchroom Boxing Chairman Eddie Hearn wants Oleksandr Usyk who recently made his heavyweight debut to appear on his show, which takes place this winter. His rival could be Dereck Chisora who knocked out David Price on October 27. In addition, New Zealander Joseph Parker and Russian Alexander Povetkin may also have their boxing bouts on this card.

As we reported earlier, Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk made a successful debut in the heavyweight division. His rival was American Chazz Witherspoon who stepped up on short notice after the bout with Tyrone Spong had been canceled.

After the seventh round, Witherspoon's corner decided to stop the beating and refused to continue the fight.

Usyk maintained his position as a future challenger for the winner of the Dec. 7 rematch between unified titlist Andy Ruiz Jr. and former titlist Anthony Joshua.

However, Usyk stated his desire to meet with American Deontay Wilder in the ring. Moreover, Usyk claimed he would prefer the American over British fighters Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury, the other two possible opponents in his weight category.
