UEFA decided to cancel today's game of Nations League because of the spike of coronavirus incidence in the Ukrainian team. Press office of the Ukrainian Football Association reported that on Tuesday.

At that, both teams have been ready for the match. But the actual circumstances are worrying: on Tuesday, three Ukrainian players, Ruslan Malynovsky, Junior Moraes and Serhiy Kryvtsov passed positive tests. Prior to that, seven of their teammates got sick with Covid-19.

UEFA has not yet decided on the new date of the match. Ukraine now has three points more than Swirtzerland, and in this particular game, even a draw will be enough for Andriy Shevchenko's men to stay in the elite division of the Nations League.

As we reported earlier, Ukrainian strongman Oleksiy Novikov has become the winner of the prestigious competition The World's Strongest Man.

The competition took place in Florida (USA). The second and third places in the tournament were taken by the Briton Tom Stoltman and the Canadian Jean-François Caron.

This is Ukraine’s third victory at The World's Strongest Man tournament. In 2004 and 2007, Vasyl Virastyuk also claimed this title.
