Teofimo Lopez Jr. (15-0, 22 KOs) is now waiting for the unification bout against Vasyl Lomachenko (13-1, 10 KOs) to be rescheduled after it was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Meanwhile, the American boxer decided to once again showcase his disregard for unified champion from Ukraine during the recent interview with CBS Sports.

Lopez promises to feel no remorse after knocking Loma out.

"That is just it. I do not personally like the guy. When that day comes when we fight, I cannot wait. I cannot wait to knock his head off and that is just that," he stated.

IBF lightweight champion is not able to say what exactly caused such a feud with the Ukrainian fighter.

"It is the look, the way he presents himself, the way that he is. I do not know what it is," Lopez said. "You ever seen someone that you just look at and you are saying, 'Man, I want to punch them in the face'? Maybe not. Maybe it is just a me thing. I do not get that a lot, there are some people I can vibe to and just chill with and hang out. But there are some people I just cannot and they annoy me, they bug me in just their presence being there in the same room," Lopez added.

He was also asked about Lomachenko's recent interview with Top Rank's Crystina Poncher.

"I like the fact that [Lomachenko] says that stuff. It keeps me going, keeps me motivated and keeps me knowing that when I whoop his ass, I am not going to feel bad afterwards," Lopez emphasized.

As we reported earlier, British boxer Luke Campbell believes that he will be able to "crack Lomachenko's code" in the possible rematch.
