IBF World Lightweight Champion Teofimo Lopez continues verbal ‘jabbing’ against his rival Vasyl Lomachenko, who is current WBA, WBC, WBO and The Ring champion in this division.
Lopez called the Ukrainian ‘a little T-Rex with short arms' in an interview with the FightHype.com. “On May 30, I am going to fight that little T-Rex with short arms,” he said.
The American boxer believes that he is being more praised after a victory over Richard Commey.
“I actually felt really honored today. A guy from the International Boxing Hall of Fame came to me and said that they would love to have my boxing gloves after the win over Loma. I am only 22 years old and this is something important to me,” the IBF champion said.
As we reported earlier, according to Mixsport.pro, Vasyl Lomachenko is expected to get the highest payday of his career for a unification bout against Teofimo Lopez.
The Ukrainian boxer will allegedly receive 4,5 million dollars. His American counterpart will also get the biggest fee of his professional career – 2,5 million dollars.
