Vasyl Lomachenko, Ukraine-born lightweight champion of the world (WBA, WBO, WBC) could use a couple of months of rest. Boxing Truth reported that, quoting Lomachenko's manager Egis Klimas.
"It was a good fight against Campbell. Well, what did you expect? Luke is taller, and he's got a bigger reach. Probably, everyone would like to see what Lomachenko when he was 126 and 130, doing this to smaller guys, but now, you know, there's a big monster. He needs to put a lot of effort, a lot of work, to win", he said.
"He has time to chill, you know, it's not a big deal. He was preparing, he was working hard, and to have a couple of extra months to rest is not going to hurt him", Klimas added.
The promoter could not specify if Lomachenko would have another fight by the end of the year.
